As soon as Maddie made contact with me, her excitement about her wedding to Roger was infectious and on meeting her we clicked at once! The couple had planned their wedding at one of my favourite wedding venues, Goodwood House. I joined Maddie and her bridesmaids getting ready at the Goodwood Hotel in the morning and as the House is so close I was also able to go and meet the guys as they arrived at Goodwood House on the vintage bus. The ceremony took place in the Yellow Drawing Room with some very enthusiastic readings by friends of the couple! Maddie was quite possibly the most excited (and possibly noisy!) brides on being declared husband and wife!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed house tours and canapés and as the weather was rather cold and grey, we used the beautiful Tapestry Room for group shots. With a little extra lighting this worked really well. We had a few minutes to spare before the meal so hopped on a golf buggy down to the start of the Hillclimb for some couple portraits. As always the meal at Goodwood House was delicious and the guests loved playing with the model airplanes and balloons!
