Last week I was at local wedding venue Southend Barns to photograph their bridal show, which was held in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice. This is a cause very close to my heart as I have volunteered on the ward at the Hospice for the past five years. The event, had been arranged with lots of local suppliers giving their time and providing goods and services and also local people giving time to model for the show. I think it is safe to say the event was a huge success with guests being greeted with champagne and canapes served by the wonderful Field and Fork caterers. The fashion show in the Threshing Barn featured many different themes from Rock ‘n Roll to Downton Abbey with all the models doing a sterling job on the catwalk! After the show, guests were able to browse the suppliers stands in the Milking Barn and it was a pleasure to have a stand there. I am looking forward to discussing lots of lovely Southend Barns weddings very soon!
