The day of Victoria and Alex’s wedding at the beginning of April was a scorcher! Totally in contrast to their pre-wedding shoot in sleet and cold winds just a few weeks previously. This was my first visit to Jeremy’s Restaurant to photograph a wedding and it is a brilliant venue – the food is absolutely stunning! Here are a selection of images from their wedding day.
I began the day at home with Victoria and her bridesmaids where they were all incredibly relaxed getting ready together. Victoria had grown all the flowers for her bouquet herself so it was all hands on deck to get them ready – they were definitely worth all the effort! The church was just a short walk away and guests congregated outside and enjoyed the unseasonably hot weather while awaiting the arrival of Victoria.
Victoria was wearing a beautiful dress by Stephanie Allin and she was beaming as she walked up the aisle accompanied by her very proud father. After the wedding ceremony they left through a shower of rose petal confetti to make the journey to Jeremy’s Restaurant together as husband and wife. There are stunning gardens surrounding Jeremy’s restaurant and the wedding party was able to enjoy them for drinks and canapes served by the friendly team. Guests enjoyed croquet and lawn games while we did the family group shots before the meal was served.
The marquee at Jeremy’s had been beautifully decorated with shades of blues and green with bluebells growing in plant pots on the cheese themed tables. Lots of friends and family and contributed to the wedding including the not one but two wedding cakes the couple cut in the evening. The speeches were warm, funny and touching, just as they should be and although the images make them look like they went on for hours, they were actually spaced through the meal, which allowed the guests to have a short breather between the courses of amazing food!
In the evening, the couple had filled an iPad with their favourite music and clearly their guests approved of their taste as the dance floor was packed with people having a great time! I loved photographing this Jeremy’s Restaurant wedding and if you are planning a wedding at Jeremy’s please do get in touch, I would love to speak with you!
