The Chichester wedding of Zoe and Harry

It has been a busy few weeks for me so I am going back to the beginning of August to blog the brilliant Chichester wedding of Zoe and Harry.  It was a perfect day from start to finish with barely a cloud in the sky!

Zoe and Harry had their legal ceremony in Chichester the previous day so they were able to have all the celebrations at Zoe’s family home.  I began the day as usual with the girls who were getting ready with Lisa from the Beauty Rooms in Chichester taking care of Zoe’s make-up, which was very natural and fresh.  There is something very special when a bride gets ready at her parents home and Mum, Alison and Dad, Sean had got everywhere looking picture perfect.

As the boys arrived and began their tasks of directing cars and guests to the ceremony marquee, the excitement grew.  Finally once everyone was in place, Zoe, accompanied by her father and bridesmaids walked through the gorgeous woodland to meet Harry.  The humanist ceremony was absolutely lovely, so individual and personal to the couple with their own vows to each other.

Following the ceremony, all the guest made their way to the reception field where Cook and Buttle served champagne and canapés and the 4 Strings Quartet played.  Once we had the family groups completed, I took Harry and Zoe away for some portraits together making use of the stunning light coming through the trees.

The reception marquee was decorated beautifully with white and green centrepieces by Gracie at The Flower Gallery who had also done an exceptional job on the bouquets.  Following the delicious meal again served by Cook and Buttle, the speeches kept everyone fully entertained!  Zoe and Harry met on Match.com and the best man had managed to get hold of their profiles – you can imagine the rest!

After cutting the cake, made by Gemma from Tartufi, a perfect summers evening ended the day with guests able to enjoy being outside until the sun had fully dropped when the band, The Mix Tape got the evening entertainment underway with their first dance.  Following a fantastic day, everyone was happy to let their hair down and the day ended with a fantastic party!

Thank you for letting me be part of your day and congratulations!
